What we do ?

CVS role is to support the Voluntary sector in Inverness and Inverness-shire through practical and advisory services.

We provide training, guidance towards sources of funding, and information to help you set up and run your voluntary service.

• We represent Voluntary Sector`s view.

• A) ON GOOD PRACTICE
• We give advice for management and employment in the Voluntary Sector.

• of funding and fundraising, constitutions, charitable status...

• 3. SUPPORT
• We provide support for emerging new groups, ranging from help with a business plan to guidance on how to set up an organisation and the role of a management committee.

• 4. TRAINING
• We provide various training programmes (see the list of sessions here)

• 5. UPDATE INFORMATION
• We share information on funding, legal issues, government policy...

• 6. NETWORKING
• We work in partnership with other agencies for the benefit of the Voluntary Sector.

• We are involved in collecting information about the sector in order to promote needs.
